From the Artist: "Amidst an American culture I feel as though these images are proof of how certain immigrant tendencies are inescapable. While some might feel as though they are looking from an outsider's perspective, I only intend to give them both options: one that is mine, as a Russian immigrant, and one that is from these characters. This work communicates what I like to call “the immigrant soul.”
