-Image Text Ithaca: The Image Text Ithaca initiative at Ithaca College brings together an independent press, ongoing workshops and symposia, and a low-residency MFA program at the intersection of writing and photography.The ITI press, modeled on contemporary photographic and literary small presses, publishes innovative works of text and image by national and international writers and artists.

-Pratt Photography Department: The Department is committed to the education of artists and professionals. The curriculum is designed to create a broad-based knowledge of photography from traditional photographic techniques to the digital darkroom, including aesthetics, history, and artistic and professional practice.

-Nomadic Bookshelf: A nomadic photobook store currently located in Cleveland, OH. We specialize in independently made and produced photography books.

-Transmitter: Transmitter is a collaborative curatorial initiative, focusing on programming that is multidisciplinary, international and experimental, founded in 2014 by Rob de Oude, Carl Gunhouse, Sara Jones, Rod Malin, Tom Marquet and Mel Prest.

-Conveyor Editions: Conveyor is a production house that specializes in small run editions of artist books, zines, and other printed matter related to photography. Under the imprint Conveyor Editions, we commission and publish several projects annually that re-imagine the form and function of the contemporary photobook.

-TIS Books: Photobooks, we think, grow of themselves. They are the unique expressive and communicative form – the offspring of a camera and a mind at work in the world – to which TIS books is dedicated.

-Split Graphics: Founded in 2016 by Brooklyn-based designer Kate Therrian, Split Graphics is an independent, global, creative design firm specializing in the creation of branding, logos, posters, t-shirt graphics, and album art.

-Houseboat Press: Houseboat is a very small group of artists working in the Boston, Massachusetts area. Houseboat specializes in book making, and is known mostly for books of photography.

-VUU: VUU is a Brooklyn-based studio that focuses on publishing new photography.

-Gratuitous Type: Gratuitous Type is an annual magazine, published in Greenpoint, Brooklyn and founded by Elana Schlenker in 2010.

-Visual Studies Workshop: Visual Studies Workshop is a non-profit educational art organization located in Rochester, New York. VSW was founded in 1969 by photographer, writer, curator and educator, Nathan Lyons

-ROMAN NVMERALS: ROMAN NVMERALS is a publishing collaboration, started by artists David La Spina and Michael Vahrenwald. The imprint consists of a series of simple, single-signature books, consisting of a concise body of work.

-Draw Down Books: Draw Down is an independent publisher located in the northeastern corner of the United States. Created in 2012, Draw Down publishes small books about photography, graphic design, typography, art and architecture.

-New West-New East Editions: New West / New East seeks to offer an alternative. An alternative means for photographers to share their work in both a physical and affordable realm.

-Art Vandelay: Art Vandelay is a New York based curatorial and publishing project.

-Aviary: is a gallery, artist boutique and photography lab located in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts. It was founded in the spring of 2011 by Lindsay Metivier with the purpose of creating a space for established and emerging artists to share their work with the greater Boston community.

-Aint-Bad: Aint–Bad is an independent publisher of new photographic art. Founded in Savannah, Georgia, the collective is dedicated to publishing contemporary photography and text to support a progressive community of artists from around the world through online web features, printed periodicals, monographs, and exhibitions.

-Empty Stretch: a group of individuals seeking to disperse & expose photography/ers thru online curation, gallery exhibitions, & book publications.

-Papersafe: Papersafe is a CatLABS publication dedicated to analog photography and is printed three times a year. Its goal is to create a current, critical and thought provoking showcase of analog photography from around the world. Each issue will cover a single subject through photographs and thoughtful, relevant texts. It is printed in limited edition formats with each issue’s edition size being less than 100, and is edited by Trevor Powers.
